Let my name perish, --

the poetry is good poetry and the music is good music,
and beauty dieth not,

and the heart that needs it will find it.

Sidney Lanier

How this works

How does it work? It's simple. Once we receive the content of the message you would like to display and the color of the frame that you like; we will create it and deliver it to your location. Whether it's a heartfelt quote, a piece of wisdom, or important information for the community, the choice is yours.

But here's the catch: these plagues are meant for you to share with the world. We encourage recipients to display their plaques in public spaces where others can read and potentially benefit from the content you have selected. These are meant to be displayed indoors. Whether it's in a library, waiting room, a community center, classroom, training room, or any other public area, your plaque can inspire, educate, or simply bring a smile to someone's face.

On the next pages you will find:

Examples of our work and then

ideas for quotations and phrases you might consider.

You are not limited to our suggestions.

Choose your own or use ours.

There are other web sites such as Brainy Quotes that offer many possible quotations.

There is no cost to you for these finished plaques.

What we are about.

This is a family project that has come together slowly.  We think we've found a worthwhile endeavor that others will enjoy and hopefully benefit from. Also, this has allowed us to get to know other members of our family a little better.

It started with a visit to the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail in Vermont.  Along this trail, passages from Mr. Frost's poems are posted on plaques.  Enjoying these works led us to the idea of sharing other motivational, inspiring, encouraging, or just funny thoughts with others.

You'll notice names at the bottom of each plaque   These are the 1st names of ladies in our family.  An example on one plaque is Grace who is a great, great, great aunt that none of us ever knew. Aunt Grace took in and raised 3 young boys when her sister Lana Leota (our great, great, great grandmother) died at a very early age in 1910.   Maybe as you select the content for your plaque you can remember someone in your life that has had a positive or selfless influence on you.

We also believe in these times which we spend so much of our time in the cybersphere that some time-tested common-sense thoughts and ideas can help keep us well grounded.

In this spirit we hope you can find a positive or uplifting thought that we together can share with others.
